"Corporal Otto Memorial Golf Trophy"
Piece donated as first sculpture fund raiser at the 2013 Marine Corps Golf Tournament in St. James, Southport, NC
Dedicated to the memory of "Corporal Otto Cicurella", my wife's father. Otto joined the Marines at age 34, when his only daughter was but three months old. He served and was wounded at Iwo Jima during World War II. He was, of course, always a Marine, and with this piece we rekindle and honor his memory.
Resin construction on solid cherry base, approximately 24"H, 20W, and 18"D
Piece is on exhibit in Camp Lejeune, NC most of the year, and it brought to St. James Member's Golf Club each November to be awarded to the winners of the golf tournament.
